It’s a DM sent automatically to someone who comments a keyword on your post or reel. i8chat sends it through Instagram’s official API, usually within seconds, with your link as a button.

Yes. i8chat sends through Meta’s official Instagram API for private replies, the same API Meta provides for business tools, and stays under its cap of 750 private replies per hour. There is no password and no bot login: i8chat never scrapes, never automates a browser and never asks for your Instagram password.

Business and Creator (professional) accounts. Personal accounts don’t receive Meta’s comment notifications, and switching takes about a minute in the Instagram app.

i8chat is in early access while Meta completes its review of our app, so we switch on each Instagram account personally:

1. Sign up with Google and leave your Instagram @handle in Settings.
2. We switch your account on, usually within a day, and email you.
3. Accept i8chat’s tester invite in the Instagram app (Settings and activity → Apps and websites → Tester invites; on older versions, Website permissions → Apps and websites), then connect your account and build your first campaign.

Every DM i8chat sends for you counts once: the opening DM, the link after a tap, an optional follow-up, replies to DM keywords and story replies, and broadcasts. A repeated follow prompt, sent when someone taps the follow button before they follow, doesn’t count. A DM that sends the link straight away is 1 DM; campaigns that send an opening DM and reveal the link after a tap, or use the follow gate, use 2 per person (3 with the optional follow-up), so 250 DMs reach about 125–250 people. Public comment replies don’t count.

Yes. Keywords, public replies, DMs and buttons all work in Arabic and with emoji, matching understands Arabic spelling variants, and the builder offers ready-made Arabic suggestions. The dashboard itself is in English for now, but everything your audience sees can be fully in Arabic.

i8chat stays under Meta’s documented cap of 750 private replies per hour per account. Overflow is queued and retried for up to about a day, and anything that still can’t go out is marked in your logs so you can follow up. That is separate from your plan’s monthly DM allowance: once the allowance is used, new DMs stop until the next month or an upgrade, and comments held back in the last 48 hours are answered after an upgrade.

Yes. Plans are month to month. Cancel or switch plans in Billing → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for; after that the workspace uses the Free plan’s limits. Campaigns that are already on keep running within the Free plan’s monthly DMs, and your campaigns, logs and data are kept.
